• If you were successfully able to fill out the application Form but an error occurred after you tried to pay by Credit / Debit Card, please ensure that banking details are being entered correctly. Alternatively, please contact your bank to understand if the transaction is being withheld or the card is temporarily blocked. If it is confirmed that there was a debit from your account for your transaction with the department, please provide a copy of your bank statement that the issue can be investigated.

The expected turnaround time it will take to process your application is approximately 72 hours (3 days). Your  documents will be emailed to the address on file.

• No. However, vehicles that are registered to companies can be renewed using this Guest Service access.

• Your quickest and easiest option is to click the “Forgot Password?” link on the Vehicle & Drivers’ Licensing Online Renewal homepage. This will take you to a separate page where you will be required to enter your email address to start the password reset process.
• Once completed, a new password will be sent to your email address. We recommend you log in to the Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing Online Renewal as soon as possible and change your password to one that is strong, but that you will also easily remember.

The Guest User portal allows you to renew your  vehicle's  licence only, and you can do it without first becoming a registered user. No personal details are presented to the applicant in this renewal process.

Registered User “My DVDL e-Services”

• This portal allows you to renew your vehicle (s) and  driver’s licences.
• Personal information can only be updated using this access.

• Once you have submitted the online application (for the renewal of your vehicle or driver’s licence) you will receive TWO emails from DVDL. The first email is to confirm that DVDL has received your renewal application. The second email will confirm that the renewal process has been completed. Keep these emails!
• Until you receive your renewal documents (for vehicle licence or driver’s licence), these emails are proof of your renewal.
