All DVDL Offices to Close on Monday, 31 August 2026
The Ministry of Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing & Infrastructure (PLAHI), and the Department of Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing (DVDL) advise the public that all DVDL offices across Grand Cayman—West Bay, George Town and Bodden Town—will be closed on Monday, 31 August 2026, to facilitate a staff training workshop.
All Grand Cayman DVDL locations will resume normal operations on Tuesday, 1 September 2026.
MPLAHI and DVDL apologies for any inconvenience caused by the closure.
Customers are reminded that vehicle and driver’s license renewals can be completed online through the DVDL website at http://www.dvdl.gov.ky
