All DVDL Offices to Close on Friday & Saturday, 23 and 24 October 2026
The Ministry of Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing & Infrastructure (PLAHI), and the Department of Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing (DVDL) advise the public that all its offices will be closed on Friday & Saturday, 23 and 24 October to facilitate a workshop and team building exercise.
To accommodate customers affected by the closure, the DVDL offices in Breakers and West Bay will open on Monday, 19 October 2026, during normal business hours, in place of their usual Saturday operations.
DVDL’s George Town main office will resume normal business operations on Monday, 26 October 2026, and the Breakers and West Bay offices will reopen on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, at normal business hours.
MPLAHI and DVDL apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure.
Customers are reminded that vehicle and driver’s licence renewals can be completed online through the DVDL website at http://www.dvdl.gov.ky
